Make a Roll and Twist Side Ponytail

How To Style :
  • Step 1 : Spray some texturizer into your hair to give it hold. Next, grab a section of hair from the front left (or right) side of your head and pull it across the back of your head. Secure in place with a bobby pin.
  • Step 2 : Take a piece of hair from the base of your neck and tuck it over the first piece of hair. Secure with another pin.
  • Step 3 : Continue to take pieces from the base of your neck and tuck them into the roll. Continue using pins to ensure a good hold.
  • Step 4 : Once you’ve reached the opposite side of your head, pull the majority of your hair into a ponytail right by your ear and tie with an elastic.
  • Step 5 : Take the remaining free section and pull it next to your ear and underneath the base of the pony. Wrap it over the top and around again until there’s virtually no hair left.
  • Step 6 : Secure the remaining end of the loose strand under the pony with a bobby pin to keep it hidden.

Tucked Side Ponytail Hairstyle

How To Style :
  • Step 1 : Fit your hair extensions a little higher up than normal, then pull all of your hair over one shoulder and secure into a side ponytail with your bobble/elastic.
  • Step 2 : Once you have secured your ponytail tightly, you need to hold your bobble/elastic and pull this about 2” down the ponytail.
  • Step 3 : Using your hands, you now need to part the small section of hair above the bobble/elastic. Once you have parted the hair enough to have a clear gap, push the elastic up and into the hole! Now you have to make sure you pull all your hair through.
  • Step 4 : To finish off this tucked side pony hair tutorial, you simply need to pull the ends of your hair tightly which will push all the hair together neatly at the top of your pony. If your hair is a little shorter you may need a few bobby pins here to just tidy up the tuck.

Make a Textured Ponytail

Steps :
  • 1 : Create volume at the crown of your head by backcombing with a round brush.
  • 2 : Spray your entire head with hair spray, to keep volume from deflating.
  • 3 : Grab two large pieces of hair at the temples and cross one over the other so they end up on opposite sides of the head again.
  • 4 : Start creating a fishtail braid, making sure to add pieces from the hair that’s hanging down as you go. Continue this until all of your hair is gathered into a single ponytail.
  • 5 : Secure the ponytail with a very thin elastic.
  • 6 : Take a piece of hair from the back of your ponytail and wrap it around the elastic to keep it hidden.
  • 7 : Pin the end of the hair behind your ponytail with a bobby pin.

Make A Boho Chic Ponytail

How To Style :
  • Step 1 : Curl the top layer of hair with the rest of your hair messy/curly. Mine was kind of curling from no heat curls the night before.
  • Step 2 : Tease your hair starting just past your bangs on top, back to where you will secure your ponytail
  • Step 3 : Gather your hair in place where you want it, not tight at all, and secure with an elastic.
  • Step 4 : Pull tight, then pull out strands as needed to create a “messy on purpose” type of look.
  • Step 5 : Wrap an extra piece of hair around the elastic.
  • Step 6 : And You’re done!

Make A Sleek Parted Ponytail For Your Hair

Steps :
1. Brush your hair all the way through to get all the knots out and make it really smooth.
2. Create a deep side part. The deeper the better (which means: the more to the side, the better). If you have bangs, it's ok, you can use some product like a pomade or extra hairspray keep them slicked down.
3. Comb your hair into a smooth ponytail. You can make it whatever height you want. This summer, I am loving ponies that sit right smack in the middle of your head.
4. Secure with a rubber band. Make sure it's as tight as you can get it, you don't want your ponytail slipping down halfway through the day!
5. Hide the rubber band with a bit of hair. (I like to do this, especially if I'm going out to dinner or drinks and want to look a little fancier.) Just take a bit of hair from the underside of the ponytail and wrap it around the band. Pin in place (with bobby pins) underneath the ponytail to secure.
6. backcombed the end of the ponytail to make it look messier.

Lovely Side Ponytail Tutorial

How To Style :
  • Step 1 : Start by curling your hair to match the texture of the ponytail extension this particular piece comes curled.
  • Step 2 : Section your hair from ear to ear and place it into a small bun or ponytail. Clip the top section out of the way for Step 4.
  • Step 3 : Place the base of your drawstring pony over your bun or ponytail and pull the elastic band to tightly secure. Open the small clip located on the top, comb it over your hair, and then snap it closed.
  • Step 4 : Unclip the top section from Step 2 and taking the tip of your teasing brush or comb, prep a small section to tease.
  • Step 5 : Start at the crown and pull up a 1-2 inch section – the smaller the section the more volume you will create.
  • Step 6 : Every time you backcomb spray a little bit of hairspray so that it holds the hair longer.
  • Step 7 : Carefully use your brush to smooth down any fly-a-ways.
  • Step 8 : Wrap smaller sections of the top around the base of the ponytail attachment and secure with bobby pins.
  • Step 9 : To finish it off, pull sections of the secured top up to reach the desired height and look.

Punky Ponytail Hair Tutorial

Step One:
Brush all of your hair through to ensure your hair is free from any knots and tangles :) I love popping in my Quad Weft hair extensions to make this super thick and on-trend. ♥
Step Two:
You will need to section off the top section of your hair like I’ve shown in my pics; to do this, take the tail end of your styling comb and create two straight lines either side so you are left with a section around 2 inches wide.
Step Three:
Take this section back to the crown of your head and section off with a hair band while we tend to the rest of the hair. :)
Step Four:
You should be left with most of your hair down and the top section secure in a hair band. You will need to take another hair band and secure the remaining hair so that you are able to concentrate on the top section without any pieces of hair interfering from the bottom section.
Step Five:
Now, we’re going back to the top section to create the punky ponytail; you are going to be french braiding this section right to the back to where this section ends. Start at the front by taking three equal sized sections and begin a simple three strand braid; you will then need to take a section from the left side and add it into the closest strand in the braid. Continue this with the right side too, alternating between the left and right side. Braid back to where your crown is and neatly secure in place with a hair band.
Step Six:
Now, for the bottom section, you’re going to need to brush all of the hair back gently and neatly into a ponytail, ensuring you get the end section of the braid into this too; then you can take out the hair band from the braid so it falls with the rest of your hair in the ponytail. :)
Step Seven:
Once you have secured your hair into a ponytail, you need to take a small section from the underneath of your hair and wrap this around the base of your ponytail. This will hide your hair band and make the hairstyle look super sleek. :) Secure in place with a bobby pin, ensuring that the hair band is hidden and the ends are neatly tucked away. :)

Make A Ponytail With Twists For Your Hair

Steps :
  1. Create a deep side-part on the left side of your head. Grab all of the hair on the left side of that part and keep it to the side, then gather the rest of your hair and sweep it to the right.
  2. Divide the small section of hair on your left into two pieces.
  3. Cross the hair over and twist. Repeat this one or two more times so that you have the start of a tight, thick twist.
  4. Grab a vertical section alongside your twist.
  5. Add it into the twist, crossing over and around the first two strands.
  6. Continue incorporating vertical sections and twisting until you get to the opposite side of your head. Grab hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic.
  7. Take a piece of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the hair elastic to hide. Tuck it into the ponytail and pin it in place with a bobby pin.
  8. From the side it looks like a super-cool, beach-ready ponytail ... But from the back you see the pretty twists that keeps the look girly and sweet.
